MaximEyes EHR software (Version 3.0) for optometrists and ophthalmologists received the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC-Health IT) 2015 Edition Health IT Certification—meeting 100% of ONC’s base certification criteria.
“The 2015 ONC health IT certification enables eligible clinicians (ECs) who use MaximEyes EHR software to meet technology, capability, functionality and security requirements for CMS value-based care programs, including the Merit-Based Incentive Payment System (MIPS), Alternative Payment Models (APMs), and the Medicaid EHR incentive program,” said Nitin Rai, president, CEO and founder of First Insight Corp., developer of MaximEyes EHR software.
“Built-in MIPS tools within MaximEyes EHR further simplifies incentive program compliance with MIPS calculators, measure indicators and automated reporting that comply with MACRA reporting requirements,” said Rai. “First Insight is committed to ensuring our EHR products always comply with new certification and clinical standards, and we will continue to adopt standards and functionalities that make it possible for optometrists and ophthalmologists to safely and securely exchange EHR data.”
MaximEyes EHR was tested and certified through the Drummond Group LLC, an ONC Authorized Certification Body (ONC-ACB), and has been certified in accordance with the applicable certification criteria adopted by the Secretary of Health and Human Services. This certification does not represent an endorsement by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
