Alcon Launches AIR OPTIX COLORS Education Salon. This free online training program provides technicians with the knowledge, tools, and confidence to successfully fit AIR OPTIX’ COLORS. It consists of learning modules on the science of the lenses, how to tap into the unmet demand for eye color options to grow your business, and how to help patients choose the right color for them, including how to use the virtual try-on tool to make the patient experience an easier and faster one. Zeiss Unveils Online Education Platform. A new online campus, Zeiss Academy Vision Care, helps ECPs develop skills they need for their practice. The 24/7 training platform focuses on three areas of learning: Optical Science (from the fundamentals to fitting and dispensing for new staff to a refresher for experienced ECPs); ZEISS products and their technologies; and selling and communication skills to boost sales. Revolution EHR Delivers New Data-Driven Service. Rev360, a new business services company for ECPs, was recently launched by RevolutionEHR. It combines its billing service RevCycle with RevAssurance, which randomly reviews charts each month to ensure practices are coding according to current guidelines. The two programs have been available to RevolutionEHR users, but the company created a distinct business services company separate from the EHR system to better serve practices.
